Exploring the historical background of Iran, a civilization-building land, and its long-standing interactions with both the East and the West, as well as the significant role of Iranians in global civilization from antiquity to the present, is of paramount importance. This journal aims to generate intellectual momentum among researchers in the humanities and social sciences to investigate various aspects of society, economy, culture, art, literature, and politics with a civilizational approach. The journal’s scope is not limited to any specific civilization or historical period; it adopts a global and dynamic perspective on civilizations. It also encourages the publication of articles on Iranian civilization throughout history. Furthermore, special issues focusing on specific civilizational themes or individual civilizations could further enhance the journal's contribution.
